Paper Bowl
Handmade item by Glams! I took layers upon layers of paper and special glue I hand make for more stability, and made this captivating bowl. With layers of gold paper beneath the outer layers this bowl was made to not just be a piece of art but it will hold items. Its great as a candy bowl, to throw keys into etc. I have always had a facination with the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramic peices with gold.There is a saying Rumi the Sufi poet says that is "The broken peices is where the light comes in" this makes the broken pieces a pathway to the light and to ending the momentary darkness we all face. Life has many broken pieces, its messy, its soul crushing, but if we are here to live another day, we are meant to make this day and every other day out birthdays. What do we have to lose?
